We Go There

So I would  go there, and when I mean go there I mean go to lust. Running from the empty looking for a little light, and lust wants us to think that we need to go to her, that it is the light, but we do have two doors we can enter. The first is the door of lust and the second is the door of our higher power. Our higher power allows us to choose this sobriety that I am experiencing  at this moment and allows me to choose this sobriety for the  24 hours or go another way. As we go with sobriety for another day we are all searching for support from our Higher Power and from our fellows. I am not alone, I know many have traveled this road before me. setting the stage of support and understanding.

I have learned that I can give everything to my higher power, and my higher power is always there to take it from me. When I first walked into my first meeting I did not know anyone, I had only met Paul R. But I immediately felt at home that there was a group of people that understood me and really wanted to help. SA has taught me to go to my Higher Power with everything, and our Higher Power wants us too, my Higher Power is my God. I’m James P. and I am a recovering sexaholic.
