Hi I’m James and I am a recovering sexoholic. In The Real Connection for June 17th. we see a lesson from a robin as how our higher power sets the stage for the robin as the robin builds its nest. The robin knows how to to build its nest and its higher power provides everything the robin needs to build the perfect nest. In the story our higher power, has created a similar plan for the author of this share, and I know my higher power has a plan for me. Feeling safe from the desire of lust. When I work on my family and friends and go to meeting and work the steps, I can sometimes see the plan my higher power has for me. As I work further into my recover, and as my mind slowly makes room for what is intended for me.
I do not need lust as much as lust thinks I do. what I do need is my higher power. My higher power does have a purpose for me, and part of this is being part of this group, a group that understands me and wants me to over come my addiction as much as I do, a group that understands my struggles, a group that can help me and I can help them.
I pray that today I surrender my will to you my higher power and with gratitude I am thankful for all he gives me. James P
